Adult Faith Formation Opportunities
RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults (RCIA) classes for those adults who are interested in learning more about
the Catholic faith, or for those adults who have not completed their Sacrament
preparation, or adults interested in joining the Catholic Faith Community are
held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00–8:00 p.m.
|
Are you someone who is interested in joining the Catholic
Church? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or RCIA, makes this
possible.
|
|
Are you someone who was baptized as a Catholic, but never
received the Sacraments of First Communion and/or Confirmation?
|
|
Are you someone who has a family member or a friend who is
Catholic and are you interested in becoming a Catholic yourself?
|
|
Are you someone that was baptized in a non-Catholic Christian
faith and are now interested in converting to the Catholic Faith?
|
|
Are you someone who has never been baptized in any Christian
faith and now you would like to be a full member of the Catholic Church?
|
If you are an adult and have
answered "yes" to any one of these questions, the the Rite of Christian
Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is for you. RCIA is a faith journey in which you
deepen you relationship with God and make friendships with other candidates and
team members with Bible study, faith sharing, and learning the teachings of the
Catholic Church. Adults are then fully initiated into the Catholic Church with
the Sacrament of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion at the Easter
Vigil.
